Christian Dior

Christian Dior is a true story, set in a rich picture of cultural life before, during and after the Paris war. Dior’s inspiration came from the intellectual and artistic classes, in which he moved in with the likes of Erik Satie, Francis Poulenc, Henry Sauguet, Jean Cocteau and Raoul Dufy.

Review 1: Christian Dior audiobook by Crisitna Tunon

Very interesting

I stumbled upon this audio book after I listened to a book on Coco Chanel. It was included with my audible membership and I needed a change from my usual genre. I’m so glad I gave it a chance! It’s such a wonderful and informative book. You don’t need to be interested in fashion to find this book compelling. It’s very much the story of how Dior completely revolutionized and modernized a very traditional and stuffy industry. Highly recommend giving it a shot! You won’t be disappointed!

Review 2: Christian Dior audiobook by diamela atencio

Interesting, history and fashion

First, the voice of Nadia May makes you want to sit straight and look elegant while absorbing this piece of history mixed with the story of an icon and the description of a man.
Loved every minute of it

Review 3: Christian Dior audiobook by Michelle

Another aspect of Dior

I was surprised to get the inside description of Mr. Dior, such a different man than the gentle, meek one I had imagined. Enjoyable book – although it popped my fantasy a bit by introducing the ruthlessness and stress of the fashion business.
