Dangerous Minds is the second book in the Knight and Moon series. It is a romance, mystery, and humorous fiction written by Janet Evanovich. She is the #1 New York Times bestseller author and has written around twelve romance novels besides her major series. Consider reading the first part of this series titled Curious Minds. The narrator in this book is Lorelei King. She is very easy to listen to and her tone is just about right. This kind of genre suits her very well. She adds levels to our experience of the novel with her amazing voice.

Wayan Bagus is a Buddhist monk who has lost his island and wants it back. It was his island of solace which had mountains, a rainforest, a volcano, and beaches. But it all disappeared without a trace.

Emerson Knight sure loves a great mystery. He relishes solving these unsolvable cases. He is amazingly handsome and finding missing islands for him is better than Christmas morning with the family.

Emerson follows the trail and it leads to a dark and sinister mission. He decides to assemble a team to deal with the case. Since a crack team isn’t available, he decides to bring in his cousin Vernon and Riley Moon. Together, they will embark on an investigation that will reveal a hundred-year-old conspiracy to the world.

As it serves as the sequel to Curious Minds, fans of that novel will probably enjoy this. It isn’t the same as it has a new set of characters. Thus, it can freshen things up a bit. This novel is a comedy thriller with a major emphasis on comedy.
