Death by Proposal is the seventh mystery novel in the Caribbean Murder series by Jaden Skye.
Cindy and Mattheus, finally separated from each other on a much needed vacation on the beautiful island of Aruba, are awakened by screams of terrible disappointment. A hotel guest had just discovered his new fiancée dead under his window, sprawled out in the courtyard below, shortly after he proposed. The two have recently met online, remotely over the Internet, and have only met face-to-face a few times. The entire hotel was terrified and mobilized. Is it suicide, or is it murder?

Despite pressure from Mattheus to get Cindy to focus on their relationship and not get involved, she must fulfill her promise to herself to help victims of crime. Cindy and Mattheus’ relationship becomes strained as they uncover the strange web of relationships between the young woman’s family and her new fiancé.

They meet unscrupulous police on the island; the victim’s strange father, who always wished her death; and the dead woman’s hot boyfriend who recently showed up in the hotel with his new girlfriend.
