Dragon Age: Asunder – Audiobook Online
Dragon Age: Asunder is the third novel in the Dragon Age series by author David Gaider.
A mysterious killer stalks the halls of the White Spire, the heart of solar power in the mighty Orlesian Empire. To prove his innocence, reluctantly Rhys embarks on a journey into the Western wasteland, which will not only reveal more than he bargained for, but also change the fates of the witches. his fellow monk forever.
I am a hardline Liberal Shaman, the belief that power corrupts and that the punishment of the many for the actions of the few is unconscionable, especially when it does so. based on religious traditions, and fearful of the unknown. I never knew that this ideology had a name until I read Asunder, and I’m content to just play through games alongside mages more often than not (exception: Anders). So when I read this book and I learned about the Rite of Silence, the presence of demons, and all the other fun things that frighten and control magicians, I was extremely invested in this. emotional side; so my thoughts on this book are probably a bit biased.
That said, the pacing is exhilarating, almost buggy (there’s a level of Game of Thrones betrayal, but no perfect execution), and the introspection of the Templar-Magi struggle through the child. Evengaline and Rhys’ eyes are perfect. Watching these two characters grow from a Templar-Apologist and Mage Moderate to Separatists advocating the breakup of the Circle of Magi is a real treat. Cole, however, was a disappointment. He’s very interesting in Dragon Age: Inquisition, but while the insight into his background is great, the text portraying him is clearly lackluster.
