Finding Latinx is a biography of author Paola Ramos.
Latinos across the United States redefine their identities, push boundaries, and politically awaken in powerful and surprising ways. Many people – Afrolatino, indigenous, Muslim, gay and undocumented, living in large cities and small towns – are frequently overlooked voices on how to represent diverse populations including nearly 60 million Latinos in the United States.

In this powerful cross-country travel talk, journalist and activist Paola Ramos embarks on a journey to find the communities that define the controversial Latinx term. She introduced us to the native Oaxacans who rebuilt the main street in a post-industrial town in upstate New York, “Las Poderosas,” Texas reproductive rights fighters, Milwaukee musicians whose beats reassure others belong to them. as drag queens, environmental activists, farm workers and migrants detained at our border.

Ramos chronicles how “Latinx” has created a sense of collective and solidarity among Latinos unseen in this country in decades.
