For Your Eyes Only, and Other Stories is a literary fiction book in the James Bond series by author Ian Fleming.
When emergencies suddenly arise, James Bond will be there to meet them. The assassination of a Cuban thug in America, the destruction of an international heroin ring or a mysterious death in the Seychelles, 007 all gets the job done in its own unmistakable style.

This smaller story follows the Bond formula, with one notable exception. “Quantum of Solace” is actually not related to the secret service, but rather a story told to him by Governor Nassau.
It is not action packed and has no imminent threats. Instead it is a story about a broken marriage. The pacing change is so interesting that leaves the impression that James Bond has learned something he couldn’t in this area. The stories are interesting, and while they’re not as powerful as some novels, the originality of a short story anthology is welcome.
