(Free Online Audiobook) The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy By Douglas Adams

The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is a science fiction fantasy. It is chapter 1 of the series with the same title as of this novel. Douglas Adams is the author of this novel who did a brilliant job with his powerful writing of characters and the storyline. He was a famous screenwriter, novelists, author, essayist and a dramatist of his time.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is his most notable work. Apart from this, his other notable science fictional books include The Restaurant at the End of the Universe and Life, the Universe, and Everything.

Stephen Fry gave quite a compelling and a stellar narration of this chapter. He literally made all characters so good and larger than life through his strong and expressive voice.

Just a few seconds ahead of the demolishing of the Earth, Arthur Dent is taken off the planet by Ford Perfect, who was his close friend and a researcher as well for the revised edition of The Hitchhiker’s Guide. It was all for the sake of making way for the galactic freeway.

This dynamic pair together initiated a journey going through the space and aided by the many quotes from The Hitchhiker’s Guide and then a galaxy that is full of fellow galaxy travelers. There was Zaphood Beeblebrox who had the reputation of having a dual headed and a 3-armed former hippie.

This first novel in The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series will make you a fan of Douglas Adams for life. After reading or listening this, you will be automatically attracted towards reading the other novels in the series. It is definitely that much tempting.
