Harbingers is the tenth literary fiction book in the A Repairman Jack Novel series by author F. Paul Wilson.
It all started very simply: Jack was hanging out in Julio’s bar when an acquaintance named Timmy asked him for help. His teenage niece has been missing since this morning; The police say it’s too early to worry, but Timmy knows something bad has happened. This naive request triggers a seemingly coincidental chain of events that leads Jack into the darkest days of his life. Jack is desperate. That’s when things started blowing up and people started dying.

This tenth novel in the Jack the Repairman series has firmly established the series as one of my all-time favorite series, (all genres included), although I think that I might as well say it at the beginning of book 3 or 4. All novels are like chapters in a long novel, taking place over only a few years. And it seems that towards the end, there is less time between each novel. For those who haven’t tried Jack the Repairman, think of these novels as delightful thrillers nestled within a very broad supernatural element.
