Murder mysteries are all day’s job for Josie and her team, together the group has solved cases which had no clue at all. Josie trusts her crew members more than her family members because she thinks they are the best in the whole department. Gretchen Palmer is one of those elite members who are quite close to Josie and when Gretchen does not appear on the scene for a whole day Josie gets worried.

Gretchen does return to the scene but her hands are stained with the blood of an innocent boy. The lady confesses that she has murdered the boy but Josie thinks that she is lying. Near the boy, a picture is also found and Josie’s mind very quickly starts establishing the missing links after all she cannot see her friend going to the gallows. During the progress of the case, two new dead bodies appear and the situation becomes more serious than before. The Girl with No Name and Her Mother’s Grave was better than regular mystery tales while this one is the best.

Josie also wants to know in this case that why her team member has confessed to a crime that she has not committed. Perhaps Gretchen also knows more than she is telling the police and she wants to hide the crime. Thrill decorate every chapter as we move forward in unveiling the original criminal who is the mastermind behind the whole plan. Josie feels lonely too after a long time but she gets over it quickly.
