The second novel in his Chronicles of the Man in the Night series, follows Nate from Jonathan Quinn’s award-winning thrillers.
A request so simple that Nate didn’t think twice about rejecting the path Liz suggested. When he found the body, he realized he should have known better. Liz has a habit of directing him to those who need his help, even if they are no longer alive.

His deceased girlfriend isn’t the only one pushing him to solve the murder of the dead woman. When his best friend Jar discovers the woman’s true identity, she insists they need to investigate. Nate wasn’t so sure. After all, the police are investigating the case, and if he and Jar interfere, they will only get in the way.

This is a good book. I really enjoyed this Jonathan Quinn spinoff from Nate.

The addition of Jar is awesome. I love her!

Nate and Jar make a great team and the dynamism between these two is great. Looks like Liz might be disappearing, I’m fine with that.

The storyline and plot is very good, Didn’t see some of the things that happened and why it happened, which always makes the story better.

The narration is very good. I really like it. Zach Villa did a great job with all the voices.
