I found out shortly after the first story that this book was written for school-age children. once you hear it from that context it’s really cool. I believe there are several lessons in the book that will be directly related to Luke Skywalker’s place in The Last Jedi. not a must-read but it certainly sheds some light on Luke’s progress since Return of the Jedi which isn’t a bad story.

The brilliantly written visual language from Mr Ken Liu lets you feel the universe unfold around you as you experience Star Wars through young Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. I enjoyed the audiobook of this novel by Ken Liu. Voice acting is excellent. Listening to the voice and narration of the character Luke skywalker, as he travels across the galaxy is a delight. The cast of the deck and their stories of Luke skywalker as a beacon of hope. Inappropriate propaganda from the Old Empire is interesting. But most of all, seeing representations of more parts of the star wars universe come to life and hearing the music and sound effects along with the sounds of sci-fi plays. like a TV series. I might just re-listen to the audiobook before Episode 9 comes out to enjoy the sound of star wars.
