I quite enjoyed this short story about an American girl who meets an English guy while in Paris trying to find her estranged father. There’s instant appeal and chemistry with wit and humour. I loved that Horace was completely mesmerized and knew that Reggie was the woman for him without the help of a Thai fortune teller. They felt like the perfect couple. You sometimes wonder with these quick romances if a full-length novel could make the characters fairer, but in this case I would be happy too.
