So I’m a domestic engineer ( yes ) with 2 toddlers and a tween boy and a 4th one named husband. besides music , it’s audible books and this one sooo far has the only one that had my full attention. I didn’t drift or set it aside. My ear bud didn’t leave my ear from morning till dinner. So worth the credit. Need more

Narrator is horrible.

Ok, story was interesting. It had some slow spots but kept my interest, not the best I’ve read and not the worst. However, Susan Marlowe is one narrator I will never listen to again. In this book she is supposed to have a southern accent that comes and goes throughout. My biggest problem is her pronunciation of words with a double t. The word “written” is pronounced writ-ten NOT wri-hen as Ms. Marlowe thinks. She did this throughout the book never pronouncing the t’s correctly, it drove me nuts.
