The story of a prisoner trapped in a mine going online and growing a weed for beer is a very interesting one. The only annoying thing is that he’s stupid enough to make you want to rip your hair out.

Your ability to enjoy this series is directly proportional to your tolerance for simplicity. The first book isn’t bad, although the MC seems to intentionally make bad choices, the system and skills are interesting, and there’s character development and base building.

The second book is a bit more like that but starts to bring more women into the MC’s orbit. Normally I would be interested in the harem trend, however, the author took a different path.

By the third book, I had skimmed the passages, trying to avoid dynamics in the strange and ludicrous interpersonal relationship between the MC and the four women. At this stage, it became clear to me that the author espouses the angry ludicrous that no man is capable of accomplishing anything without a woman’s help.
