While on vacation on the Cornish Riviera, Hercule Poirot was alarmed when she heard the beautiful Nick Buckley describe her recent “accidental encounter with death”.

First, on a treacherous Cornish hillside, her car’s brakes failed. Then, on a coastal road, a falling rock slipped her several inches. Then an oil painting fell and nearly crushed her on the bed.

So when Poirot finds a bullet hole in Nick’s sun hat, he decides that this girl needs his help. Can he find the killer before he hits his target?

I found it right to begin to think that Poirot stories were becoming formulaic and predictable. Honestly, this confused me during the reveal process. The only thing I can guess is that I doubt the identity of “J”. And I suspect the Crofts about something, but I can’t think of anything. The rest got me pretty fooled. cheery. I was quite interested in mentioning the Moonstone in one of their myths from the very beginning, having enjoyed that mystery novel not long before reading it myself. Another great performance by Fraser.

OH! I’m listening to these books because of a Youtuber I follow. These are cozy mysteries perfect to listen to while cleaning the house or drinking tea at the end of the day. This is by far my favorite! And I haven’t even seen the movies that have been made into movies. The change at the end is well worth the wait.
