While not as fast paced and energetic as the first book, Pin is a great read. Not looking for a relationship, Pin and P.I. met at the Blue Dog Saloon and everything went smoothly, with him “helping” in a case. Then things get heavy between them and her lies come out. Pin is very sad and this character is very confident in the way he deals with it. No spoilers per se but well worth the read. Highly recommended.

Second in the chain. Stand alone. Love this book. You quickly get so caught up in the story that you don’t want to put it down. How two people who are not looking for a relationship find that. Get through a bit of danger, enemies and rejection and you have a great story. Can’t wait for the rest of the thread. The author has created a great series.
