Meanwhile, Kira and Warren underground continue to search for Reevie as they try to uncover the reason behind the strange disappearances in Aramoor. However, the answer they seek is more unsettling than anything they could have imagined….

This story has many characters and many perspectives. Wisehart gives them enough time and space to develop their voices in the larger story. It makes the story richer and easier to follow than some.
More importantly – the story sounds like a familiar joke, but every time you think it’s going one way, it’s going the other way. It’s very fun, interesting and I will always wait for the next book. And I’m sure Tim Gerard Reynolds can make my grocery list feel like a riveting adventure or a creepy horror movie. He is a blessing for all the books he makes.

I really enjoyed the series – so many different characters and stories, well written and long, with an audible attribution. I didn’t like the zombie plague part because I thought there were too many books out there, but it’s still a great story with great characters!
