The story is engaging and I like that Nicole (the main character) is a strong woman who can be a bit spoiled. I don’t really buy love at first sight from Rafe. I don’t think men can change their opinion so easily. I think, believe it or not, the book has too much sex. I think the plot could have gone well without some sex scenes.

I’ve been a CC Gibbs fan for quite some time. I read the Knight series and was happy to see more of my family members. Nicole and Rafe’s book is an amazing ride that draws you in from the very beginning. I can’t wait to read the next book to learn more.
