The 3rd book in the NYC Mecca series did not disappoint! I love seeing the Other World, seeing how it’s different but similar to ours. The installation descriptions are very detailed. Loved the unexpected characters, didn’t want to spoil it, but that side story was so touching and perfectly written. My favorite characters are Kade, Cal, and Finn, but I think Violet just jumped near the top. I think this book has put her down a bit, but I can see how she’ll come back stronger than before to help tip the scales in the massive battle that was set for the previous book. In this book, Arianna learns more about herself and goes through a difficult, but ultimately victorious, journey, just as she prepares to confront the ultimate darkness.

I can’t wait to see more of Arianna’s power and how she and Kade will work together to unite people against the Winter Court and their allies. I hope the 4th book gives the supporting characters the attention they deserve (don’t get me wrong, I love Kade and Ari, but the supporting characters are amazing and I just want to see more of them/ see how some of them are amazing!).
