But things get complicated when Harper begins to fall in love with him – and discovers that David’s own destiny may very well be to destroy the Earth.

Rebel Belle is one of those books that’s been on my “must-read” list for a long time, and no matter how many times I’m about to pick one up and read it, something always pops up. which I never understood. with it. However, now that I’ve read it, I’m a bit angry at myself for taking so long.

Rebel Belle is a light-hearted, fun book filled with elements of fantasy, high school drama, and a sweet romance that will make you weak. There really isn’t any deep element here – Rebel Belle doesn’t add any confusing storyline – instead, it stays on track with a very smooth read. I find a lot of people a bit annoyed by that, but honestly, I think that’s what’s so captivating about the book – it’s always true to itself and downright entertaining. Since this is what I was really looking forward to (and hoping for), I wasn’t disappointed at all. Honestly, it was an addictive book that I couldn’t put down until I finished reading it.

The book is extremely witty and humorous! The harp is one of the most brilliant and interesting characters I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Rebel belle is the epic first book of the new trilogy and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one but *sigh* from now on it’s going to be a LONG wait.

One of my favorite things besides Harper’s excellence is the chemistry and spark between her and David. I literally melt from the sexual tension or cuteness every time I read them. The ending that I would also like to add is a brilliant break and I can’t stop laughing at the sheer irony of the whole situation, that’s also why I’m craving a second book!!
