Once again Jennifer Ashley has given her Shifter’s Unbound readers an excellent story with well-defined characters and a great plot. I’ve always loved Jennifer Ashley’s writing because she stays true to her mystical world. She has never ‘changed’ the rules as her series continues to evolve.

Red Wolf is the story of two destined friends, the lovely Jaguar Jaycee Bordeaux and the rare and charming red wolf Dimitri Kashnikov. Both are followers from Kendrick’s untethered Shifter group residing on a ranch in Texas. Dimitri knew from the start that Jaycee was his; On the other hand, Jaycee already knew it in his heart, but needed more convincing.

Sent on a mission to New Orleans’s to find out what’s really going on with a group of Shifters, the two find themselves in more than just a sentient house, (owned by Shifter’s mate, Jasmine Samuelson, ‘Jazz’, Mason McNaughton’s mate ~ whom we met in Wild Things), but among the Teleporters they weren’t sure they could be trusted. There are new Shifters introduced in this book as well as some new Fae. We can also catch up with old favorites. I’ve always enjoyed reading about Tiger; especially learning your child’s name ~ Seth.
