I’ve really enjoyed Joanna Bolouri’s previous books, her stories are always a little crazy but fun and they’re the perfect antidote after a stressful week. Relight My Fire is no different in this sense, it made me laugh out loud many times and I completely forgot about my life for a while.

This story focuses on Phoebe and Oliver, who starred in Joanna Bolouri’s debut film The List and shared some of the crazy erotic adventures at the time. However, things aren’t so wild now, after a few years together and having a daughter, they can’t even remember the last time they had proper sexy sex. Not only that, but they are also distant from each other in daily life. So Phoebe decided it was time to counsel the couple.

As you can imagine, counseling is not your traditional form, but rather a rather creative one, so our protagonists embark on a few more sexual adventures. I have to say though, I didn’t expect some secrets to be revealed in the process and the story caught my attention completely. There are also a few other storylines to complement the main one, so you never get bored with the story and things just keep going.
