I read Renegades just days after the attack on the US Capitals and before Biden’s inauguration. Renegades gave me a wonderful escape from reality. It’s no shame that RC Bray brilliantly narrates another Alanson creation story. I hope Alanson continues to write fiction about the Expeditionary Force for many more years to come. I’ve read he’s planning 15 novels. That won’t be enough.
The worst part of this series is when you realize you’re listening to the final chapter. Now you have to wait for the next book and at the same time pray that it has the same narrator. I’ve listened to a lot of books and have never been into sci-fi but damn, this is good! I drive a lot for work and the article is very interesting. I often wonder, how did he come up with this. Now I can’t have enough. I hope he wrote the next book. I will count the days.
