I’m crazy about fairies, so Fortuna Sworn has been on my radar since the author contacted me last summer. Unlike that first book, I bought this one myself and stayed up from 3am to 8am reading it. I’m so ready to go back into the world and see where things go.

I love this story and can’t wait for the next book! It’s a great dark side to fairy tales. It’s not your typical fae book with a powerful fairy coming to the rescue of the girl in trouble making it interesting. The story doesn’t stagnate when it focuses on the same point over and over and continues to go well. The best part is that the heroine doesn’t need rescuing and is a beautiful dark character in herself. However it ends with a cliff which is okay but leaves me wanting more!
