Rhythm of War is my favorite book in the series to date. That is to say something like I fell in love with each one. The Stormlight Repository is Brandon Sanderson’s best world builder.
Of particular note is how this series deals with mental health. Sanderson has a rare understanding and ability to repress the pain of mental health issues while acknowledging the dark gifts they bring. This is a very special series and this fourth installment is very insightful.

Sanderson once again knocked it out of the park. Towards the end, he has masterfully crafted another brilliant story worthy of Cosmere’s depth and breadth. His brilliant prose takes the reader through a whole spectrum of emotions and passions, and leaves one satisfied yet eagerly awaiting the sequel to the Stormlight saga. I cannot wait.
