This book does a great job of connecting the rest of the previous books and giving us a prequel to Descendants 2. After watching the Descendants 2 trailers, this book provides what take a closer look at what’s going on. If you’re going to watch Descendants 2, I highly recommend reading this book because it fills in the gaps that I don’t think the movie will answer or explain.

Melissa has written another great book Descendants. I couldn’t put the book down (thus still having to get up at 2:44 am). I can’t wait to see if she has another book on hand! The characters come to life and you feel like you’re there too, or like you’re watching a movie stretched out in front of you. What a great way to pass the time until the movie comes out in July.
