I like Jasmine Guillory’s writing style. Her main characters are strong, independent, down-to-earth and very approachable women. I loved that the book was written from the point of view of both main characters with all of the same insecurities and mental dialogue we all have when starting a new relationship. This story with a more mature perspective really struck me and was very sweet. Great read!

The author brings together mother-child relationships, relationships later in life, brilliant work-life balance and travel. She also succeeds in addressing the importance of non-traditional family roles and adults who choose not to have children. The narrator was great and drew me in. I will definitely listen again next year.
