Both of these guys need to let go and learn to love themselves. Throughout the book, they begin to do so with the help of therapy. They also find and fall in love. The story is great. The flow is a bit jerky and not as smooth as I’m used to with this author but still a fun story.

Virginia Nelson writes a wonderfully moving love story. Riley and Basil are characters many people can relate to; no longer wanted to be alone but was too afraid to try harder. I love Riley because he’s a very special man who falls into a rut without seeing it, and as time goes on the rut deepens and before long he looks around and realizes that I’m really just surviving, not living. Rumpling Riley is a lighthearted look at issues that readers can understand and even find a bit of it within themselves.
