Of all the suspense series out there, Joe Pickett is probably my favorite. It has it all. CJ Box created the most difficult yet lovable character in Joe Pickett. In this book, Joe faces the mystery of what happened to an eco-terrorist who happens to have a connection to his wife. The mystery was finally unraveled and the story was never stretched. It is stable and straight. Contrary to superheroes like contract killer series, Joe Pickett is regular, and that’s refreshing. This is a series I don’t get tired of. And David Chandler’s smooth vocals are the perfect pitch for Joe Pickett. Absolutely perfect.

A lot of interesting plot twists and turns the plot, the focus is mainly on Joe Pickett but it also deals with some environmental issues without taking sides and some historical issues.. I wonder if the TV show hosts ruined this book
there’s a lot of drama in family books without creating unnecessary drama like they do in family history Joe’s Pickets.
