These are not the saint’s espionage adventures in longer book form but rather the typical saint’s crime world short stories that I find more interesting. For some reason, I absolutely hate spy fiction, perhaps because I absolutely hate war. But these are hilarious crime stories that often only hurt other criminals who aren’t as smart as the saint. I suppose one reason I love them is that even with a fairly extensive vocabulary, I still need to continue using the great system that comes with the e-books to look up words and their origins. If you have an outdated public school education in the UK, you have indeed been taught!
