It’s been 10 days since Jade finally came out. Once out of bed, she’d spent her life trapped in, out of the hospital, and now out of the city, the walls and the road outside her comfort zone.

The wilderness is a scary place, especially when you’re hunting for mesmer… and everything else is hunting you. Unfortunately, getting out of the woods won’t take her out of the woods. She will need to navigate court politics and foreign policy if she wants to appear in a production. Finding your way through national problems is at least as difficult as finding your way through the Basaigh Woods.

This is one of the most exciting and thrilling books this year. It has a lot of character building, but the action scenes are well done and there is a lot of great action. Narrator Samara Naeymi really did a great job capturing all the emotions that unfold throughout the book. This is one of my favorites in the series so far. Well done, well done.

If you’ve read the first two in the series, this one warms up to the action. I love reading this series on Kindle. The audio version brings it up to 11. The narrator did a great job reading. This series has a fairly even mix of growth, action, and slice of life. We also learn more about the world and the bad guys moving in the background.
