Jane Austen is one of the most influential and popular novelists in English literature. I was so impressed with Pike’s performance of pride and prejudice that I also listened to this and I was not disappointed. I saw the movie and enjoyed it but the book is much deeper than that. In particular, I appreciate some of the more goofy characters that in the movie are just comedic.
