I know that sometimes, reviewers say that, for police proceedings, the books In Death have a lot of romance. Well, they certainly won’t say that about this. Shadows is just about the full squad of cops and it’s all about how the smallest detail leads to another, and ultimately to the bad guys. Really enjoyed the love story of Eve and Roarke growing up.

This is a good story and performance! I think one of the things I enjoy the most is focusing on what Roarke is thinking and feeling. He’s usually Eve’s support, but this time he’s allowed to have thoughts and feelings that are independent of her focus on solving the case. It ate him out for me. I love this story. It’s all my favorite times!
