Shame By: Fiona Cole – Audiobook Online
Shame is a beautiful book by author Fiona Cole.
Neighbor girl. Pretty. Sweet. Type. obey. Until I met you, I was alone with dark desires that I could not understand, could not reconcile. She became my best friend, and then she became much more. The desire. Hideous. Shame. Domination. I wouldn’t have survived college without her. We were together, for the first time in my life I was at peace. But it’s too good to last. The longing for pain and pleasure has destroyed us. And all the drinks in the world are not enough to get used to missing her. As I was about to earn my degree, Ana came back into my life, those gray-blue eyes still able to see right through me. It was the opportunity I had been waiting for. One last chance to get over my shame. If only it was easy.
Shame is a hot, steamy, and erotic 5-star story that has the power to unleash your innermost desires, make your core cry, and set your heart on fire. Chances are you’ll be squirming in your chair with a sly grin on your face while you bask in all things Kevin and Ana. Fiona did an incredible job exposing the secrets of life behind closed doors of consenting adults.
Shame was my opening to writing Fiona Cole and it was an eye-opening experience that I took in with every fiber of my being. The writing is captivating and captivating. It pulls me deeper and deeper with each chapter. The sexual discovery of two best friends is a beautiful story of trust, communication, and self-awareness. Kevin and Ana have grown together through all their experiences. Their journey has not been an easy one, which is what makes the story so much more compelling. My heart shines and bleeds for them. Each chapter reveals something new that has awakened my heartbeat in some way, shape or form.
When the light bulb finally comes on: “Like you’ve been on a sugar-free diet for years and you convince yourself that sweet potatoes are dessert, but then you eat cake and know you’re a dirty liar filthy, because it was hot. , that cake is better than you remember. You know it’s wrong and shouldn’t have it because it’s bad for you, but it’s too good to refuse.”
Fiona Cole tackles a subject that could be described as taboo and even shameful. Not only did she deal with it, but she accepted it and turned it into something acceptable. We can experience the characters as they look inside themselves to try to understand who they really are and, more importantly, why they are who they are. At times, both struggle with the truth, possibly even hating and denying who they are inside. But with each other’s love, care and understanding, they learn to accept themselves, learn each other’s needs, and how to make it work – together.
