I’m really speechless, I wanted to throw my kindle out the window at about 68% but I’m glad I didn’t because it turned out to be a great second installment.

After leaving Camden by the side of the road, Ellie becomes stuck with Javier and is forced to make a choice to protect Camden, the only one who sees the good in her. When Camden realizes he won’t be able to live happily ever after with his ex-wife and son, he teams up with Gus to try to find Ellie, the only woman he truly loves.

Javier certainly used his evil charm and manipulation in this book, making my heart pound right out of my chest at several points in the book – I definitely didn’t like Javier!

It’s an extremely interesting story told in interspersed POVs. Will Ellie do the right thing and believe in herself like Camden did or will she succumb to the darkness in the Javiers’ mind?
