I love Woods and Della, they get along so well. Both have been through a lot considering their age.

Woods is faced with the sudden death of his father, while still helping Della overcome fears and nightmares, his mother decides to let his ex step in and befriend her, while the lover His ex wants to get Woods back, and Della is completely outraged, which only adds to Della’s fear.

The ex finally cornered Della, oh how I laughed when Blaire pointed a gun at her, so glad we got Blaire and Rush; So the ex finally gets her help and leaves town

I’ve had this on my TBR list for a while now but because of mixed reviews I didn’t want to join. So I took the plunge and I can honestly say I’m glad I read it, admittedly it’s not as good as the Rush/Blaire books but still worth reading.

Yes, Woods is a bit controlling at times, but that’s because he cares about Della, he knows she has a problem and wants to be with her.

There were a lot of Ahhh moments and even some forced moments – actually I was shocked and a bit sad when the story went in the right direction but admittedly you don’t always have a happy story which often has tragedy lurking around.

I’m looking forward to seeing how the other characters develop, especially Grant and Tripp with a possible glimpse of Della and Woods, Blaire and Rush.
