Solo A Star Wars Story – Expanded Edition, Audiobook Online By: Mur Lafferty

Don’t miss out on exclusive content in this thrilling adaptation of Solo: A Star Wars Story, with scenes from alternate versions of the script including Han Solo’s time in the Royal Navy, his past. Qi’ra, the beginning of rebellion, etc.!

Though Han Solo has excited Star Wars fans for decades, the notoriously shrewd delinquent pursued adventure and evaded trouble long before he entered the courtyard cantina. space flight Mos Eisley.

Young Han dreams of one day flying into space aboard his own spacecraft and leaving his homeland, the grim industrial planet Corellia, far behind. But as long as he’s stuck in a life of poverty and crime – and under the control of the sinister Lady Proxima and her sadistic street gang – it seems like reaching for the distant stars is impossible. When Han tries to escape with his girlfriend and accomplice, Qi’ra, he succeeds – but she doesn’t. Desperate to find the ship out of her own world and free her, Han joins the Royal Navy – the last place for a rebellious loner who doesn’t play well with others.

When the Empire cuts its wings, Han turns rogue and plunges into the shady world of smugglers, gamblers, and fraudsters. There, he meets Lando Calrissian, a charming and cunning bingo player, befriends a grumpy Wookiee named Chewbacca, and sets his eyes on the Millennium Falcon for the first time. To claim his piece of outlaw pie, Han joins a band of pirates to carry out a risky heist. The stakes are high, the danger is big and the odds are very small. But never tell Han Solo the odds.

Praise for Solo: A Star Wars Story:

“Mur Lafferty brought us the best Star Wars movie adaptation.” (Star Wars News)

“If you liked the movie but don’t want more, this novel has exactly what you need.” (CNET)

“An exciting adventure story in the larger Star Wars franchise that goes beyond the usual novel treatment to explore a new part of the world we’ve never seen.” (The Verge)

A good book and story about Star Wars is finally here in the new age of Disney. Perhaps there is hope for the story after all. The main reason to read this book stems from this, this book allows the movie to really make sense. While still far from perfect and unlike the original Solo adventures, it’s not as bad as a Solo story.

If you liked the movie Solo, you’ll love this novel. And you can enjoy this novel even if you don’t care much about the movie. I really liked that we got this story through Han’s point of view, which is a bit different from the movie’s point of view. You also get glimpses from Chewbacca’s point of view, which is also quite interesting, because we don’t go into Chewie’s head in the movie.
