I won’t divulge any spoilers here but if you’ve read the previous books, you know who I’m talking about! Or at least the one I’m talking about- lol! This is not a revelation, but I still don’t believe Hattie Durham at all. And her sobbing revelation to Buck was the part that made me suspicious, she said she did horrible things but wouldn’t say anything, I’m afraid I might know something but I won’t say here lol! Can’t wait to start the next one!

I absolutely love the Abandoned Series. I was slow to read it, even though my mom used to have the whole series and I never intended to borrow them. I have read almost all the books now. I’m watching Kingdom Come and I only have one of the books written after this series. Still need to get the other two. I really like the way the authors write the stories and it’s very engaging. They write a lot based on the information they have deciphered in the Bible and one of the most frequently quoted characters, in some books more than others, where they gather their own ideas about what going to happen. They take quotes from the Bible and more or less turn them into plain English for other characters who don’t really understand. It is very enlightening.
