Something strange is going on at the Colorado academy. First, I ran into a Viking guy who didn’t like me at all. Then I noticed some strange artifacts in the Library of Antiquities. And worst of all, I started hearing rumors about a new group of Grim Reapers that could summon mythical monsters.

I may be the most hated girl at Mythos Academy, but I’m also the only one who can save her….

In my opinion, the most important thing if you want to start reading this book: Read Jennifer Estep’s Frost series first (about Gwen Frost, Rory’s cousin), otherwise the plot will be ruined if you want to come back later.

I loved Jennifer Estep’s Frost original series and ever since I heard that she was going to continue the story, I’ve been waiting for the chance to read it. I loved Rory when she was featured in one of Gwen’s books. I found her strong, kind, respectable and vulnerable.
I found the story fascinating and since I’ve read her other series it’s been a pleasure to discover the Easter eggs she hid inside the book.
I love going back to the world of Mythos academia. I found the story very engaging. The ending battle is really well done and the results are quite unexpected.
I found her writing style more descriptive than I remembered from her earlier books, but that didn’t bother me.
