Stand All the Way Up is a beautiful book by author Sophie Hudson.
If you’re like Sophie Hudson, your initial reaction to the hard stuff – the pieces and pieces of life that keep you awake at night, constantly reminding you that the “simple and easy” way is a turn you must have missed. along the way – is trying to figure out how to make it go away. You might be wondering if it’s possible to ignore it or better burn it all. What Sophie found during a particularly difficult time was that God, through His word and person, faithfully revealed how to get up, stay upright, and stand firm along the way.

This book has all the laughs – what my friends call pee-pants laughter – and tears, too. This time Sophie really took it to the next level, making me think a little harder and feel a little deeper. I sobbed when I heard Sophie talk about her mother’s passing and laughed out loud when her rental car didn’t start and she desperately needed a toilet nearby. Sophie shares with readers some of the vulnerabilities that I think women are sometimes too nervous to share with their real-life friends. I bookmarked many pages that I will return to and refer to often and quickly ordered three more copies for my closest friends. I think reading and sharing Sophie’s words will help us become better friends with each other and of the other women we meet in our daily lives. Thank you Sophie, I am a lifelong fan!

Whenever I read Sophie Hudson’s books, I imagine that I’m sitting at her breakfast table with a cup of coffee and she just talks to me, tells me her stories, weaves some wisdom throughout the book. This book was no different, but this time I was moved to tears many times. The chapter about her mother is almost too much – beautifully written and I feel honored to be able to tell about that sacred moment. The chapters on her feelings about some of the world’s current events are refreshing to read – and linking it to Psalm 40 is a helpful app I personally need when I’m struggling. with some anger of his own. There is some real honesty in this book and of course Sophie’s witty humor always keeps the reader entertained. Love this so much!

Sophie’s latest book has me feeling all sorts of emotions—and that’s great! Her words encouraged me to have a voice when I thought my voice didn’t matter and just started trying to change one habit, one person, one cause—one step at a time just by “one step at a time.” ” in the direction to change instead of giving up!! I love every word in every chapter and Sophie involves so many women! She’s real, genuine, honest, transparent, and a Christian, and at the same time, her funny, one-of-a-kind!
