Kate Atkinson has once again written one of the most exciting and moving novels I have read in a long time. Saving a child and a dog is just the tip of the iceberg of weaving this moving story with well-developed characters that you care about even if they have many flaws. A mystery, a love story, a story of redemption- I recommend this book wholeheartedly.

OH! I was not expecting this. I thought this would be a cute little mystery. It turned out to be a complicated book with a great plot and smart characters. The narrator is perfect for the book. I had to listen to it twice to see how Kate Atkinson accomplished it. Great use a credit to me. Remarkable entertainment.
