Initially, as other reviewers have pointed out, I thought there was a book missing or out of order. But thanks to other reviewers, the confusion has cleared up for me. Yes, this book is about two years ahead, but it didn’t take me as long to fall in love with the story as I did in the first book. I enjoyed this story while learning more about the peripheral characters. The narrator gave a great performance. I’m going to jump right into book 3 right now.

I struggled for the first few chapters. Is this book 2? Did I miss the content from book 1? A lot of things happened that I don’t remember. In the end, I decided to go with it and it was a fun way to write the book in the middle of the story and refer to 1/3 of the book in the recent past. I don’t like it done often but it’s been put to good use here. To book 3. Hope is still without the cafe and pink apron.
