I absolutely love Me Before You and After You so I was very excited to read the first chapter of Still Me. Reading about Louisa is like meeting an old friend. I was hooked from the very first sentence and can’t wait to read the rest of the book. It’s great to know that she’s in New York to start a new job and is still that lovable character. Thank you Jojo Moyes for bringing Louisa back to us.

Lou took her new and exciting job in New York and moved her life there, while her handsome boyfriend Sam remained at home in Storfold.
With over 400 pages, I was worried that there wouldn’t be enough plot to keep me interested, but I was wrong!
We follow Lou as she settles into her new job as the Personal Assistant to Agnes Gopnik, the new wife of the extremely wealthy Leonard Gopnik – much to his ex-wife’s dismay.
For starters, Lou and Agnes start out as a real house on fire. Lou is invited to all the glamorous events in New York and discovers a completely different lifestyle.
However, nothing good lasts long with Lou and suddenly she finds her whole world turned upside down. Going on long-distance dramas with Sam and I was hooked! The parts with Sam really mean a lot to me, because I know firsthand how terrible the distance can be in a relationship and I desperately want everything to go well with them.
