All the books featuring Jacqueline “Jack” Daniels are beautifully written and grab your attention with a grip that can’t be let go, but I have to admit that the index is boring. my violence was eventually sidelined halfway through. this and I almost didn’t finish it. While the authors have left more things open, Stirred is supposed to be the final installment of the series, and I can’t say I’m sorry. For fear that you think I’m opposed to gore, far from it; it’s just that I absolutely cannot believe that any human being – no matter how good they are in shape – can endure such extreme physical and mental brutality and go on living without no need to, as I said in a previous book review, spend months in rehab. In addition, many of the torture methods described are also very hard to believe.

That said, authors Konrath and Crouch promise future books featuring familiar characters from the Daniels series (I won’t reveal which one for fear of spoiling things for those who haven’t read Stirred yet). ), and yes, I’ll definitely give them a try.

Besides that, a very nice feature of the Kindle version of this book is that although it can stand alone, the character references in the previous books include handy links for you to have access to. can read who they are. Ah, the wonders of technology!
