Mercy Thompson keeps getting better and better. Briggs continues to add new and exciting allies and enemies, and Mercy’s abilities continue to evolve. Lorelei King’s voice acting is excellent; and Briggs’ plot is getting better and better.

Definitely not a good book to start with this series. I’ve read and re-read all the books and sometimes I almost feel like I need a transcript. Taking action gives you very little time to catch your breath. I’m very interested in what changes in Wolf’s personality might lead to. Mercy’s relationship with Coyote continues to be curious. Highly recommended.
