Like many John Sandford fans, I have read or heard (or both) all of the Prey books. I love the story line, and Richard Ferrone IS Lukas Davenport – no one else can read these books. Storm Prey is right up there with the best. Now I have to wait another year for another Lukas Davenport novel!

A good story with an interesting subplot that comes to a satisfying conclusion. This is one of Lucas Davenport’s more “lighter” adventures, with only a handful of innocent people meeting a tragic end. The only drawback with the performance is that the French/Lebanon accented characters are a bit overdone. Still, a good narrative and well worth the credit.
