What an amazing sequel. Storm the Earth is the second novel in Wells’ Shatter the Sky duo, and it’s just as great as the first.

Fascinating story. The story is possibly the best part of the series. For fans of dragon lovers, this is sure to please as it has a lot to offer. There are times when the relationship between dragons and humans is reminiscent of Christopher Paolini’s The Heirs series, but Storm the Earth stands on its own.

When we stopped at Shatter the Sky, everything changed completely. In the first book, Maren learns that Aurati kidnapped her girlfriend who relied on the great dragon Naava to deliver their prophesies, and that without her, they were just prophets Small but wrong. More than that, Maren learns that her power, her connection to the dragons, can save Zefed and Ilvera from the evil schemes of Rafael, the emperor of Zefed, and the so-called Western Flames West.
