I have listened to other narrators of The Shannara Series by Terry Brooks and other books by various authors. But Paul Boehmer gives High Druid Tanequil and Straken an emotional read to go along with the incredible words of Terry Brooks.

I read Brooks to see who will survive the adventure and what they think about it. Usually, at some point in the middle of these little novels, I wish there were more inner struggles, more plot moves based on relationships, more sparkles that reminded me of other literary works, etc. So I go elsewhere, then I come back because I really want to know how this story came out. And perhaps the way it provides the plot for Shannara’s other books. I can’t stand not knowing the whole history of the land.
