My uncle chose a much more dangerous power. He calls dark creatures to our world, binds them to service contracts, and sells them to the highest bidder. And I have to act like I don’t know how illegal and dangerous it is.

Rule three: Don’t talk to the devil.

All I had to do was stay away from it. Pretend I can’t find the summoning circle in the basement. Pretend I don’t notice the shadow trapped inside it. Pretend I didn’t break the rules. But I did, and now it’s too late.

I have never read or heard anything like this plot, Yes it is about ghosts and magic but the story and the relationship between the characters is 100% original. (To me.) I haven’t read everything out there but yes if you like fantasy books. give this one a Chace. you won’t apologize. Can’t wait to get the next one.

The question of personal morality versus the rule of law has always been something that interests me. I truly believe in a higher power. I am an agnostic and I do not feel that we should meet a higher power to behave properly, regardless of whether that power is law or religion.
