It’s great with these value packs because I don’t have to wait to hear the sequel. While I enjoyed the series, I didn’t realize that they were part of a larger and wiser universe ahead of their time. Just wondering why the names and people sound familiar, lol. On the other hand, it’s a great story and complements the universe it’s built on.
I started listening to this series with this compilation. It just came out as a free option, so I gave it a try. I started out unimpressed, but since then, the series has grown slowly in me, despite some of the writer’s annoying quirks, such as. use the same noun more than once in a few sentences. (He’s getting better.) Now I’ve listened to most of the books in the series and I’ve enjoyed and I’ve invested in the characters so much that I really don’t want to listen to the end.
